Nato nel 1975 si laurea in cinema al Seoul Institute of the Arts. Debutta nel 2016 con “Worst Woman” e lo stesso anno realizza “The Table”. “Josée”, suo terzo lungometraggio, è uscito in Corea del Sud il 10 dicembre 2020 ed è stato distribuito anche a Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam e Hong Kong.
