Biografia

Juhn Jai-hong nasce a Seoul ma ben presto si gira diverse parti del mondo attraversando due continenti prima di decidere che definitivamente di perseguire la sua carriera da regista. La sua carriera inizia a New York ma ben presto, catturato dalla poesia di ‘Ferro-3’ di Kim Ki-duk decide di contattarlo per poter lavorare con lui, diventando uno dei protetti del regista. Il suo primo lungometraggio “Beautiful” viene presentato al cinquantottesimo Busan Film Festival e vince il Gran Premio al Fukuoka Asian Film Festival nel 2008.

Juhn Jai-hong was born in Seoul but very soon he goes around the world crossing two continents before deciding to definitively pursue his career as a director. His career began in New York but soon, captured by Kim Ki-duk's 'Iron-3' poetry, he decided to contact him to work with him, becoming one of the director's protégés. His first feature film "Beautiful" was presented at the 58th Busan Film Festival and won the Grand Prix at the Fukuoka Asian Film Festival in 2008.
